My Three Sons DVD
My Three Sons was an American situation comedy that follows the life of widowed aeoronautical engineer Steve Douglas (Fred MacMurray) and his three sons namely Mike (Tim Considine), Robbie (Don Grady) and Chip (Stanley Livingston). In the later seasons, the eldest son Mike moved to California after marrying his childhood sweetheat Sally (Meredith MacRae) and Steve adopted Chip's friend Ernie (Barry Livingston). Always there to help steve with the family is Bub O'Casey (William Frawley), and later by Charlie O'Casie (William Demarest), both maternal grandfather of the boys. My Three Sons aired for twelve season (380 episodes) on ABC (1960-1965) and CBS (1965-1972) from September 29, 1960 to August 24, 1972. The show moved form ABC to CBS in 1965 when ABC refused to finance the shows' switch to color production expenses. My Three Sons is one of the longest running live-action television series and it is widely considered as one of the most influential domestic comedy of all time.
