Family Ties DVDFamily Ties situational comedy series created by Gary Goldberg, strongly ran for seven years from September 1982 to may 1989, a show about couples Steven Keaton who ran public television station and Elyse Keaton as a successful architect, they were ardently leftwing political activist in Reagan-era, now facing problems raising their children having strong conservative views.
Oldest Alex was an ambitious Reagan-devotee and Young Republican son, daughter Mallory was an underachiever, obsessed with music and boys crazy while Jennifer was a precocious youngster, a little bit tomboy and just wanted to be a normal kid. There were always time for fun and laugh within this family but some episodes seriously tackles teen pregnancy, censorship, pills addiction and racial minority.
